Andrea Hohl

Andrea Hohl (born December 31, 1975 in Satu Mare ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Born in Romania , the 1.70 meter tall player played 132 international A matches for Germany between 1993 and 2001. In 1997 she won bronze with the national team at the European Championship and was involved in this success during the tournament with an average of 9.6 points and 4.2 basket assists. In addition, she also took part with the German national team in the European Championship tournaments in 1995 and 1999 as well as in the 1998 World Cup in her own country . At the World Cup she tore a cruciate ligament in the game against Slovakia.

At club level, she played at Osnabrücker SC , with whom she made it to the women's Bundesliga in 1989 . She played with the OSC in European Cups in the Ronchetti Cup . In 1998 she became German runner-up with Osnabrück and then left the club. She moved to Goldzack Wuppertal , where she played from 1998 to 2000 and was German champions in the 1998/99 and 1999/2000 seasons. With Wuppertal, she also competed in the Euroleague, before she went to Spielvereinigung Halchter / Linden in 2000, which was renamed BC Wolfenbüttel in 2001 .

In 2003 she was relegated with Wolfenbüttel from the Bundesliga. In 2004, Hohl moved to Bundesliga club BG Rentrop Bonn after taking a break the previous year.

Professionally, Hohl worked as an ecotrophologist in the pharmaceutical industry.
