Andrea Jochner-Weiss
Andrea Jochner-Weiß , b. Andrea Jochner (born April 24, 1961 ) is a German local politician ( CSU ) in Bavaria. It is 2014 since May 1, district administrator of the district Weilheim-Schongau .
Life
Jochner-Weiß grew up in Wilzhofen, a district of Wielenbach . She completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk and had been a housewife and mother since 1991. In addition to her commitment to local politics , she worked as an honorary judge at the Munich Administrative Court.
Jochner-Weiß was a member of the Wielenbach municipal council until 2014; from 1998 she was second mayor of her home parish. The Weilheim-Schongau district council elected her deputy district administrator for the 2008 to 2014 term of office. In the 2014 municipal election , she was elected district administrator with 68.06% in the runoff election against incumbent Friedrich Zeller on March 30th. In the local election on March 15, 2020 , she achieved 48.0% of eight competitors and was re-elected with 65.1% in the runoff election on March 29, 2020.
She is married to Richard Weiß and has two grown children with him, as well as a foster child. The family lives in Wilzhofen.
