Andrea Manfredi (born February 10, 1992 in Massa ; † October 29, 2018 in the Java Sea ) was an Italian road cyclist .

Athletic career

Andrea Manfredi drove for the Italian amateur team Hopplà-Vega-Truck Italia in 2011 and 2012. In the 2012 season he won a stage at the Giro della Valle d'Aosta and took third place in the overall standings. From 2013 Manfredi drove for the Italian Continental Team Ceramica Flaminia-Fondriest . In 2015 he ended his cycling career. He then founded a company to manufacture bicycle computers .

Manfredi died on October 29, 2018, at the age of 26, in the crash of Lion Air Flight 610 in Indonesia .
