Andrea Marfori

Andrea Marfori (born October 21, 1958 in Verona ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker , film director and screenwriter .

Life

After graduating in philosophy from the University of Bologna in 1982, Marfori attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and graduated as a film editor . In 1984 he founded the production company "Formar" with Agnese Fontana and Marco Isoli and devoted himself to teaching cinematic language at various institutes. He presented numerous documentaries and cut short films; the series "Vite parallele" was created for the radio. In 1988 he made his debut film for the cinema, the self-written Evil Clutch , a cheaply produced horror film with the bloody effects customary at the time. Marfori also produced other works for television.

In the new millennium, Marfori was mainly active in the theater; in 2009 he directed Dopo i calci di rigore .
