Andrea Ruppert

Andrea Ruppert (born 1961 ) is a German legal scholar.

Act

Andrea Ruppert studied law at the University of Passau and at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. From 1994 to 1997 she worked as a research assistant with Peter Gilles at the professorship for private law, procedural law and comparative law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. From 1997 to 2002 she was a lawyer specializing in commercial law. She received her doctorate in 1999 .

Andrea Ruppert has been Professor of Private Business Law at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (now: Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences ) since 2003 . From 2007 to 2009 she was vice president of the university. She represents commercial and company law , negotiating and drafting contracts and data protection law . She is particularly concerned with “gender-specific negotiation skills” and its effects on salary and promotion negotiations.
