Andrea Schomburg (born 1955 in Cairo ) is a German poet , cabaret artist and children's book author.
Life
Andrea Schomburg grew up in the Rhineland . After studying at the universities of Cologne and Aachen , she first worked as a high school teacher.
As a cabaret artist with her own program, Schomburg appeared for the first time in 2003. Her first volume of poetry was published in 2007. Since 2012 she has been teaching poetry and theater techniques at the University of Lüneburg . In 2014 she published her first children's book .
Schomburg is a founding member of the Hamburg children's and youth book network Elbautoren.
She lives in Berlin and Hamburg .
