Andreas Giltinger
Andreas Giltinger (also Andreas Gultinger , Andreas Gildinger , Andreas Giltlinger or Andreas Validinger ) was a painter who worked in Augsburg in the 16th century .
Andreas Giltinger was born as the son of the painter Florian Giltinger (around 1490–1547). In 1563 he became master of his craft. In 1580 he received an order from the Bishop of Brixen Johann Thomas von Spaur for 50 glass paintings for the Episcopal Castle Velthurns . His panel of the vision of the mystic Birgitta of Sweden is in the Rosgarten Museum in Konstanz .
