Andreas Gram (born April 5, 1955 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1991 to 2016 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives and from 2011 one of the two vice-presidents.

Life

Andreas Gram passed his Abitur in 1974 and completed a law degree at the Free University of Berlin until 1979 . After passing the Second State Examination in 1982, he took up a position as a lawyer. In 1993 he was licensed as a notary .

politics

Andreas Gram joined the CDU in 1972 and was deputy state chairman of the Junge Union Berlin from 1972 to 1974 . Within the CDU he has been chairman of the Reinickendorf-West local association since 1993 and deputy district chairman in Reinickendorf since 1996.

Gram was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from January 1991 to October 2016. From 1991 to 1999 he was the legal representative for his parliamentary group . He was also a member of his party's parliamentary committee, from the end of 2009 as deputy parliamentary group leader. From 1995 to 2001, he chaired the Committee for the Protection of the Constitution within Parliament. From February 2002 to September 2011 he chaired the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Consumer Protection and Rules of Procedure, of which he was most recently a full member.

For the 17th legislative period (from October 2011) Gram was elected one of the two vice-presidents of the House of Representatives.
