Andreas Hammer

Andreas Hammer (born March 8, 1975 in Biberach an der Riss ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Administrative Court .

Life

Andreas Hammer studied law at the University of Trier . He did his legal clerkship in Hamburg. In October 2005 he became a doctor of law doctorate .

After passing the second state examination in law, he began his legal career in 2006 at the Koblenz Administrative Court . From February 2009 he was first seconded to the Federal Administrative Court as a research assistant for two years . This was followed by a secondment to the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate by June 2011 . and then to the Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection of Rhineland-Palatinate until June 2013. While he was at the ministry, Hammer was promoted to judge at the Higher Administrative Court . While working at the Higher Administrative Court, he was seconded to the Constitutional Court of Rhineland-Palatinate for half of his working time . In April 2019 he was promoted to presiding judge at the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate.

On November 1, 2019, he joined the u. a. 4th Senate of the Federal Administrative Court responsible for building law.
