Andreas Hesky

Andreas Hesky (born February 5, 1964 in Eßlingen am Neckar ) has been Lord Mayor of Waiblingen since March 2006 . Before that, he was first mayor of Ludwigsburg from 2003 to 2006 and mayor of Wendlingen am Neckar from 1992 to 2003 .

On his 42nd birthday, February 5, 2006, Hesky was elected Lord Mayor in the first ballot with 54.09% of the vote and thus succeeded Mayor Werner Schmidt-Hieber (FDP), who had resigned due to illness .

In the Mayor election on December 15, 2013, he ran unopposed and was re-elected with 98.06% of the vote.

Private

Andreas Hesky is married and has two children (a son and a daughter). Hesky is a member of the Free Voters and for them also a member of the regional assembly of the Stuttgart Region Association . In December 2009 he was unanimously elected to the board of the SportRegion Stuttgart eV.
