Andreas Hoppert

Andreas Hoppert (* 1963 in Bielefeld ) is a German social judge and crime writer .

life and work

Hoppert studied law and then worked as a research assistant at the University of Siegen . Since 1990 he has been a judge at the Detmold Social Court .

In his first work "The Helms Case", Hoppert uses a mixture of facts and fiction to address the death of RAF terrorist Wolfgang Grams, who was shot in Bad Kleinen in 1993 . While this is more of a political thriller , the other books by the author can be described as court thrillers or detective stories . They play in Bielefeld and Detmold, reflect the local color and everyday life in the judiciary , police and administration , and address legal issues. The protagonist is a lawyer with a criminal record by the name of Marc Hagen.
