Andreas Müller (born December 9, 1964 ) is a German radio presenter , author and music critic .

Life

The musician (guitar, bass, cornet, vocals) studied literature and geography and comparative musicology in Berlin after graduating from high school in Bielefeld. Until 1994 he realized band projects and recordings under the names Lemke / Müller, 40 seconds without weight and Müller / Specht. He has lived in Berlin since 1988.

After initial moderation at Berlin Radio 100 , he was trained as a radio editor at the Berlin news channel Info 101 (traineeship). After a time as a reporter and presenter at SFB -Welle Radio B Zwei , he was a presenter at Berlin Inforadio . Since the start of Radio Eins (1997), he has hosted the programs “Der Tag” and “Radio Eins in the morning”, among others. Andreas Müller was best known under his pseudonym “Admiral Tuff” with his weekly program “Dubsolution”. Today he can be heard on the programs “Dancehall” and “Soundcheck”.

In radio he also works as a presenter, reviewer and editor for the nationwide Deutschlandradio Kultur in the programs “Radiofeuilleton”, “Tonart Club” and “Tonart Rock”. In the program “Musik” he regularly comments on the German album charts.

Müller was also an author for the music magazine Spex . Today he writes for the reggae magazine Riddim and the Berliner Tagesspiegel . Since 2011 he has been a member of the “Black Music” jury for the German Record Critics' Prize .
