Andreas Neufeld

Andreas Neufeld (born April 6, 1976 in Krasnodar , Soviet Union ) is a Russian-German violinist.

Life

Andreas Neufeld grew up in a musical family of Russian-German origin and received his first violin lessons at the age of five at the Dnepropetrovsk music school . He took part in national youth competitions and received artistic impulses through annual appearances as a soloist with the Dnepropetrovsk State Philharmonic.

From 1992 he studied at the Mannheim University of Music with Roman Nodel. He played as concertmaster in the youth orchestra of the European Union . He completed his masterclasses with Herman Krebers , Viktor Lieberman , Philippe Hirschhorn , Zakhar Bron and Denis Szygmondy, among others . In 2001 he received the diploma concert exam.

From 1998 to 2009 he was a member of the first violins with the Berlin Philharmonic , from 2010 to 2012 first concertmaster of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. He is currently the first violin player in the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra . In addition to his orchestral work, he was a member of the Philharmonische Camerata Berlin , Philharmonische Geigen Berlin and the Philharmonische Freunde Wien-Berlin - chamber orchestras of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic.

With these ensembles he has appeared at international concerts and festivals with Misha Maisky , Tatjana Wassiljewa and soloists of the Berliner Philharmoniker.

Andreas Neufeld was a lecturer at the Pacifik Music Festival (PMF) in Sapporo and the Musas se Sardigna International in Ploaghe ( Province of Sassari ).
