Andreas Pusch

Andreas Pusch (born July 15, 1955 ) is a German forest scientist and nature conservationist. He is head of the Harz National Park .

Andreas Pusch spent his childhood and youth in Bad Harzburg . He graduated as a forest scientist from the University of Göttingen . Then he was u. a. in the state of Lower Saxony in the forest planning office, in the forest research institute and as head of a forest inspection. From April 2003 he was head of the Danndorf State Forestry Office near Wolfsburg . When the two national parks Harz (Lower Saxony) and Hochharz (Saxony-Anhalt) were merged on August 29, 2004, he became head of the newly merged Harz National Park on January 1, 2006. After Wolf-Eberhard Barth retiredhe had already taken over the management of Lower Saxony's Harz National Park in October 2004. His place of employment has been Wernigerode since 2006 .
