Andreas Quednau

Andreas Quednau (* 1967 in Berlin ) is a German architect and university professor .

Life

Quednau completed his architecture studies at the Technical University of Berlin with the academic degree of Diplom-Ingenieur and received as a further degree a Master (with distinction) in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University , Graduate School for Architecture Planning and Preservation in New York City. In 2001, he and Sabine Müller founded an office for architecture, urban development and research that has been based in Berlin since 2005.

From 2005 to 2007 and from 2008 to 2009 he was a research assistant at the Technical University of Berlin, from 2007 to 2008 he was a substitute professor for public buildings, public spaces and urban planning at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart , where he worked between 2009 and 2015 was a full professor of public buildings, public spaces and urban planning. In 2015, he was appointed to the professorship for urban design at the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover .
