Andreas Schäfer (writer)
Andreas Schäfer (born May 20, 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German journalist and writer.
After studying German, art and religious studies in Frankfurt am Main, Kassel and Berlin, Schäfer was a permanent employee of the Berliner Zeitung from 1997 to 2003 . Schäfer has been writing for the Tagesspiegel since 2006 and has also published articles in several literary magazines.
In addition to his journalistic activities, Schäfer also appears as a novelist and has received various awards for it. In 2000 he took part in the Berlin Prosa Authors' Workshop and in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in 2009 .
