Andreas Straub

Andreas Straub (* 1984 ) is a German business economist and book author.

After graduating from high school, he studied international business administration in Stuttgart and Copenhagen. He was a member of a student management consultancy and went through a trainee program at Daimler AG . After graduating with a degree in business administration, he went to the trading company Aldi Süd in 2007 . He was initially a trainee and a short time later he was division manager. In 2011 he left the group. He summarized his experiences in the book Aldi. Simply cheap. together, which was published by Rowohlt Verlag in 2012 and in which he paints a dark picture of the company's methods of employee control. It reached the bestseller list of Spiegel Online . Written the forewordGünter Wallraff . Straub founded the fashion label GreySolid, which he heads as managing director. Andreas Straub works as a freelance author.
