Andreas Waldowsky

Andreas Waldowsky (born March 4, 1967 in Hamburg ) is a German politician on the Green Alternative List (GAL) and was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 2008 to 2011 .

Life

After graduating from high school in Hamburg, Andreas Waldowsky did community service at the German Red Cross (DRK) in Hamburg-Walddörfer from 1987 to 1989 . He then studied education, history and French to become a teacher at the University of Hamburg . The first state examination followed in 1993 and the second in 1995. From 1996 to 1999 a second degree followed at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in Hamburg with a degree in finance. From 2000 to 2009 he taught French and history as a teacher at the Gymnasium Wentorf until he switched to the comprehensive school in Norderstedt, where he worked until 2012. He now teaches French and history a. a. also in the upper level of the Immanuel Kant community school in Reinfeld (Holstein). There he is also the deputy headmaster. In addition to his work, he is active in the church. From 1997 to 2003 he was a member of the church council of the St. Bonifatius congregation in Hamburg-Barmbek and a member of the church district synod Alt-Hamburg.

politics

Waldowsky has been an active member of the GAL since 1998 and was district board spokesman for GAL- Nord from 2004/2005 . He was a member of the Hamburg North District Assembly . There he was on the budget committee, core area committee, urban development committee, committee for the environment, consumer protection and transport.

In February 2008, he was in the state election on the constituency Fuhlsbüttel-Alsterdorf-Langenhorn as a deputy in the Hamburg Parliament move. There he was a specialist spokesman for the areas of Europe and international affairs. He also sat for his group on the European Committee, Budget Committee, Urban Development Committee, Economic Committee, among others. In the early election in February 2011, Andreas Waldowsky could no longer win a seat.
