Andreas von Miedan

Andreas von Miedan (also von Miedam , von Miedon or von Miethan ; born 1614 ; died August 2, 1686 in Burghausen ) was a Bavarian lawyer.

Career

Andreas von Miedan was a doctor of law, electoral regimental councilor and government chancellor as well as feudal provost of Burghausen. Since December 13, 1633 he was regimental and government councilor in Straubing . After 16 years of service, he became government chancellor in Burghausen in 1649. From October 17, 1651 until September 4, 1664 he was court advisor in Munich. He was then reassigned to the office of government chancellor in Burghausen until his death.

family

He was married to Anna Maria von Brumb (died June 13, 1684). The marriage gave birth to six children, the most outstanding being Johann Franz, who graduated from the Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich in 1663 , followed in his father's footsteps as a lawyer and became a Bavarian civil servant.

    1. Johann Kajetan Joseph, born in Reichenhall, graduated from the Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich in 1709.
