Andreas von Seggern

Andreas von Seggern (* 1967 in Oldenburg ) is a German historian .

Life

Von Seggern studied modern history, political science and economic policy at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster and Perugia and became a reluctant city in 1997 with his dissertation . On the history of the reception and integration of refugees and displaced persons in the city of Oldenburg after 1944 to become a Dr. phil. PhD. He completed a traineeship at the House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn. From 2001 to 2012 he was head of museum education for the collections and of exhibition and event management at the Otto von Bismarck Foundation in Friedrichsruh. Since 2012 he has been director of the Oldenburg City Museum. For July 1, 2019 he moved to Jever as head of Getreuen- and Bismarck Museum and deputy director of the Castle Museum .
