Andreas Chapel

The Andreaskapelle is a Roman Catholic chapel in Holderstock, a hamlet in the municipality of Sins in the canton of Aargau . It is located near the road to Abtwil and is a listed building.

The chapel dedicated to the Apostle Andrew was built in 1665, but had to be renewed six years later. Renovation took place between 1959 and 1965. The chapel has always been privately owned. The three sides closed Choir is directed to the southwest to the gabled roof to an open rises skylights with onion dome . An arched portal with the coat of arms of the Burkart family leads inside. Next to the modern block altar are two wooden figures of Maria and Andreas from the late 15th century.
