Andrei Krioukov
Andrei Krioukov (born May 18, 1959 in Moscow ) is a Russian-German painter and graphic designer.
life and work
After studying painting and graphics at the Moscow Art School and the Moscow Art School, Krioukov worked as a freelance artist on international design projects. Since moving to Germany in 2000, he has worked as a freelance painter and graphic designer and teaches as a lecturer in the field of fine arts . Since 2003 he has headed the school for fine arts and design at Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin .
Krioukov deals with one-way realism , urban landscapes as well as portraits and figurative representation. His oil paintings and graphics have been exhibited at international exhibitions in Russia , Luxembourg , USA , Holland and Germany since 1988 . a. at the Museennacht in Marburg (2005), in the Youth Palace in Moscow (1989-90), in the House of Art in Moscow (1991), in the Art Academy of the Soviet Union (1988), at the International Salon du Printemps in Luxembourg ( 2003) as well as at solo and collective exhibitions in Kassel, Schwalmstadt, Karlsruhe and Berlin.
