Andrej Ferko (writer, 1955)
Andrej Ferko (born January 19, 1955 in Pressburg ) is a Slovak writer.
Life
Ferko was born the son of the writer Vladimír Ferko . His uncle was the writer Milan Ferko . Andrej Ferko studied numerical mathematics at the Komenský University in his hometown and worked on a student theater stage. He later became an associate professor of computer graphics at the university. In addition, he holds a visiting professorship in Austria . Andrej Ferko wrote plays, prose texts, stories and fairy tales. In addition, he worked as a television play and radio play author. He is one of the founding members of the Slovak PEN center .
