Andrei Longo
Andrej Longo (* 1959 in Ischia ) is an Italian writer.
Life
Andrej Longo grew up in Naples . His father gave him his name in accordance with one of the main characters of War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy . Andrej Longo worked in Naples as a pizza baker, waiter and lifeguard. He began writing as an opera writer and radio editor. Today Andrej Longo works as a screenwriter in Rome, but his life's theme remains Naples. The people, the Italian family and the southern community occupy a large space in his literary work. His collection of short stories Ten has been translated into several languages, including German. His novel Sarahs Murderer is a bestseller in Italy.
