Andreus

Andreus ( Greek  Ἀνδρεύς ) is a figure in Greek mythology .

He is the son of the Thessalian river god Peneios and founder of the city of Orchomenos , whose area was named Andreis after him . He marries Euippe and with her they have a son named Eteocles .

Andreus is also known as the founder and namesake of the island of Andros .; it is uncertain whether it is the same Andreus.
