Walther Zubke (born February 20, 1882 in Neustettin ; † after 1934) was a German lawyer and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

After graduating from the Royal Fürstin-Hedwig-Gymnasium in Neustettin, Zubke began studying law and political science at the universities in Freiburg , Berlin and Kiel , which he completed with the first state examination in law. He graduated from the clerkship of dishes and a doctorate in 1908 at the University of Rostock for Doctor of Law with a thesis on the right of termination of both contracting parties at the work contract by Civil Code book . From August 1911 he practiced as a lawyer in Köslin . Later he was also licensed as a notary and worked in this position at the Higher Regional Court of Stettin, among others . From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier in the infantry regiment "Graf Kirchbach" (1st Lower Silesian) No. 46 , most recently as a first lieutenant in the reserve.

During the time of the Weimar Republic , Zubke joined the DNVP. He was a city ​​councilor and from 1924 to 1929 the head of the city ​​council in Köslin. In 1932 he was elected to the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until its dissolution in autumn 1933. He was also chairman of the association of urban and rural house and landowners' associations in the Köslin administrative region .
