Andrew Bayer

Andrew Michael Bayer (* 1987 in Washington, DC ) is an American DJ and music producer specializing in trance and progressive . He is under contract with the Anjunabeats label and its sub-label Anjunadeep .

biography

Andrew Bayer became interested in music very early on and took piano lessons at a very young age. In 2001, at the age of 15, he began producing music. He later studied "music synthesis" at the renowned Berklee College of Music .

In 2003 Bayer founded the Signalrunners music project with Alan Nimmo from Scotland. Together the two produced 13 singles and EPs from 2003 to 2008. The productions Meet Me In Montauk and These Shoulders , both of which appeared on Anjunabeats in 2008, were successful . The two songs were voted 4th and 9th of the top 20 tracks of 2008 by Above & Beyond on their radio show Trance Around the World 250. The duo founded the Fraction Records label in 2007 .

Anjunabeats was his favorite label for a long time and after sending them numerous demos, Above & Beyond signed him in 2010 and released The Taxi Driver EP on their sub-label Anjunadeep . In 2011 his debut album It's Artificial was released on Anjunabeats . His second album If It Were You, We'd Never Leave was also released on Anjunabeats in 2013.
