Andrew Ryan Gross (born September 30, 1969 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American composer .
biography
Andrew Ryan Gross grew up in his hometown of Los Angeles. He started playing the piano at the age of five. When he was 12 he played in a band for the first time. After graduating from high school, he studied at the renowned Crossroads School , the Manhattan School of Music and the University of Southern California . At the age of 25 he made his debut as a film composer. After composing a season for the sitcom King of Queens , he was primarily interested in the music of comedies such as The Wedding Trap , Kings of Rock - Tenacious D and Girls United - Gib Alles! responsible.
For his work on King of Queens , Gross received a BMI TV Music Award from 2001 to 2004 .
