Andrew J. Smith

Andrew J. Smith (born November 22, 1967 in Amersham ) is a British film director , screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Andrew J. Smith was born in 1967 in Amersham , England, north-west of London . His twin brother is Alex Smith , with whom he made several films together. Their stepfather is William Kittredge . Smith works at the University of Montana's School of Media Arts and commutes between his workplace and San Francisco, where his wife and two daughters live.

Smith made his directorial debut in 1987 with the comedy film Mesh . Together with his brother he made the films Winter in the Blood and Walking Out .
