Andrew Kwiatkowski , also Andrzej Kwiatkowski (born January 17,  1979 ) is a former Canadian - Polish basketball player .

career

The from Cambridge (province of Ontario ) originating Kwiatkowski played as a junior at Resurrection Catholic Secondary School, followed by two years at Simon Fraser University . In 1999 he attended the Universiade with Canada's student selection. From 2000 to 2002, the two-meter-long winger was a member of the college team of the University of Western Ontario . In the 2001/02 season he scored 25.1 points per game and got 8.7 rebounds per encounter, Kwiatkowski was then awarded as the best player of the 2001/02 season in the Canadian university league CIS. In 2001 he was appointed to Canada's national team.

He began his career as a professional basketball player with the Skyliners Frankfurt  in the German basketball league . In 31 Bundesliga appearances during the 2002/03 season, he scored an average of 10.2 points and 3.9 rebounds. At the end of the season he stayed briefly at the Italian club Eurocellulari Roseto, for which he played a game in the European club competition ULEB-Cup .

In the summer of 2003 Kwiatkowski took part with Canada's national team in the American elimination round for the 2004 Summer Olympics and scored an average of 7.3 points in ten missions at the tournament in Puerto Rico . From 2003 to 2005 he was under contract with the Bundesliga club EnBW Ludwigsburg . In 2003/04 he got 9.1 points and in 2004/05 5.8 points per Bundesliga match. During his time in Ludwigsburg, Kwiatkowski's professional career ended.
