Andrew Roche
Andrew Roche (born November 22, 1971 on the Isle of Man ) is an Irish road cyclist .
Andrew Roche won a stage at Rás Tailteann in 1992 and in 1997 he won the overall standings there. In the 2003 season he drove for the Maestro-Nella team , where he won the one-day race Bol Isle of Man. The next year he was successful in part of the Surrey League 5 Days. In 2005 he was under contract with the cycling team Rochelle , where he finished second in the Irish time trial championship. The next season he moved to the Continental Team Murphy & Gunn and won the Shay Elliot Memorial. In 2008 he went to the Pinarello Racing Team that is now running under the name Motorpoint .
Andrew Roche has been participating in the Island Games for the Isle of Man since 1993 . In the various disciplines of road racing , individual time trials and team time trials , he won six gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze medal by 2011.
