Andrei Michailowitsch Antropow (born May 21, 1967 in Omsk ; Russian Андрей Михайлович Антропов , English transcription Andrey Antropov ) is a Russian badminton player .

Career

Andrei Antropov was one of the first Russian badminton players to attract international attention on a large scale. He won the Austrian International in 1986 and was third at the European Championship in 1988. At the 1992 Olympics he was ninth in the men's singles and at the 1996 Olympics fifth in the men's doubles and 17th in the singles.
