Andries Stephanus du Plessis (born October 1, 1910 in Germiston , † October 12, 1979 in Krugersdorp ) was a South African pole vaulter .
In 1934 he finished fourth at the British Empire Games in London , in 1936 he came in 17th at the Olympic Games in Berlin , and in 1938 he won the British Empire Games in Sydney .
He set his personal best of 4.13 m on October 15, 1938 in Johannesburg .
