Andris Smirnovs (born February 6, 1990 in Ventspils ) is a Latvian cyclist .

Career

Andris Smirnovs was at the 2011 UCI Road World Championships in Denmark Copenhagen tenth in the road race in the U23. Before that, he celebrated victories at the Central European Tour Budapest GP in Hungary and at the Kernen Omloop Echt-Susteren in the Netherlands .

At the Les Challenges de la Marche Verte 2012 in Morocco, Oued Ed-Dahab won the GP . 2013 won one stage in the Baltic Chain Tour . In 2014 he finished second in Russia in the Mayor Cup and Grand Prix of Moscow . In 2015, Smirnovs took third place at the Latvian road racing championships. In 2016 he was second on the podium at the Grand Prix Minsk .
