Andronov is a small impact crater in the inner southwest wall of Gagarin Crater . It is located in the southern hemisphere on the back of the moon and can not be directly observed from Earth . To the west of the Gagarin Wall is the Levi-Civita crater .
Andronov is approximately circular and bowl-shaped with a small central crater floor. A mini-crater can be seen in its northern inner wall. Apart from that, the formation is not very remarkable and in its appearance resembles a multitude of small moon craters.
