Maria Zerres

Maria Zerres (born March 9, 1961 in Linden (Westerwald) ) is a German artist.

Life

Maria Zerres began studying art education at the Cologne University of Education in 1981, and in 1982 at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Peter Weibel . 1983-1990 she had a studio in Cologne, from 1989 to 1998 a studio in Bad Breisig and Sinzig . 1991 - 1993 she taught with a visiting professorship at the Hamburg Art Academy (Polke Class). She has had a studio in New York since 1992 and a studio in Traunreut since 1999 .

Maria Zerres is represented by Galerie Brigitte Schenk (Cologne), Galerie Ulysses (Vienna) and DASMAXIMUM (Traunreut).
