Andrzej Dera
Andrzej Mikołaj Dera (born September 10, 1961 in Ostrów Wielkopolski ) is a Polish lawyer , politician , local politician and since 2005 a member of the Sejm in the V. and VI . Electoral term.
He finished his law studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan . Until 1998 he was employed in the local self-government. From 1999 to 2002 he was the Starost of the Powiat Ostrowski (Greater Poland) . He later worked in a private corporation. From 1998 to 2005 he was a district councilor of this powiat.
In the parliamentary elections in 2005 he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency 36 Kalisz with 7,520 votes on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS) . In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he won another parliamentary seat for the PiS with 13,190 votes. He is deputy chairman of the Sejm Commissions for Legislation and a member of the Commission for Constitutional Responsibility.
From July 10, 2007 to November 4, 2007 he was a member of the Council for Public Service.
