Andrzej Ferdynand Pałasz (born July 22, 1960 in Zabrze , Poland ), also Andreas Pallasch , is a former Polish football player .

Club career as a player

Andrzej Pałasz began his career as a striker in Poland , where he played for Górnik Zabrze . With Górnik he won the Polish championship three times.

In 1987 he moved to the German Bundesliga at Hannover 96 . He made his Bundesliga debut for Hanover on August 1, 1987 and played two successful seasons here. After the Hanoverians were relegated in 1989, he moved to Bursaspor in Turkey for three seasons . After his time in Turkey Andrzej Pałasz returned to Germany in order to build up an existence there and played another season at the lower-class TSV Bayer Dormagen . In 1993 he ended his active football career there. He has lived in Dormagen ever since . In the meantime he has had his name translated into Andreas Pallasch .

Andrzej Pałasz played 34 full international matches for the Polish national football team and took part in the 1982 World Cup and 1986 World Cup.

Trivia

After the end of his football career, Pałasz runs a sports bar in Dormagen. He also runs a football school, where he trains once a week with disabled children in a special school .
