Andrzej Wawrzyk (* 26. September 1987 in Kraków ) is a Polish professional boxer in the heavyweight and former among other WBC -Youth world champion and WBA -International champion.
On May 17, 2013 he boxed against the Russian Alexander Povetkin for the regular World Championship of the WBA association and was defeated by TKo in round 3. The fight was the third.
In February 2017, Wawrzyk was supposed to fight Deontay Wilder for the title of WBC world champion . Because he tested positive for doping , the fight was canceled.
