Andy Jauch (born January 20, 1976 in Potsdam ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 2006 to 2016 .

education and profession

Andy Jauch attended the Hermann-Boddin-Grundschule from 1982 to 1988 , the Ernst-Abbe-Oberschule from 1988 to 1993 and from 1993 to 1996 the upper school level at the Upper School Center for Transport, Housing and Taxes , where he passed his Abitur. From 1997 to 2001 he studied political science at the Otto Suhr Institute in Berlin with a focus on economic policy and international relations. He completed his studies with a diploma in political science. His diploma thesis is entitled "Security Policy in the Age of Globalization - Using the Example of Europe" (grade 1.9). From October 2005 to September 2006, he trained as a public relations consultant at the German Press Academy . He also worked as a sales consultant for the Roesler commercial agency.

Andy Jauch has been a member of the SPD since 1998. From 2000 to December 2001 he was a parliamentary group assistant of the SPD parliamentary group in the Treptow and Treptow-Köpenick district council, 2001 to 2006 district councilor and economic policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group in the Treptow-Köpenick district council assembly and, since January 2000, head of department of the SPD in Baumschulenweg in the Treptow district -Köpenick.

Andy Jauch was elected directly in the constituency of Treptow-Köpenick 1 in the elections for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2006 and 2011 . He no longer wanted to run for the 2016 elections.
