Anette Haas

Anette Haas (* 1961 in Salzgitter ) is a German artist and university lecturer.

Career

Haas completed her art studies as a master class student with Heinz-Günter Prager at the University of Fine Arts Braunschweig (HBK), which she graduated in 1991. In 2004 she accepted her first teaching position at the HBK Braunschweig in the field of painting and sculpture.

From 2006 to 2008 she taught as a visiting professor for painting in the fine arts department at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). For two semesters (2006–2007), Haas was also an artistic assistant at the Institute for Fine Arts in the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University (TU) Braunschweig. In 2008 and 2012 she taught as a visiting professor of painting at the China Academy of Art Hangzhou .

Haas has been Professor of Artistic Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape at Leibniz University in Hanover since 2014 .

Haas lives and works in Berlin , Hanover and Kingston, New York .
