Angelė Bajorienė

Angelė Bajorienė (born May 11, 1961 in Sabuva , Jieznas District , Prienai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician .

Life

After graduating from high school, Angelė Bajorienė graduated from the Vilniaus pedagoginis universitetas with a degree in Lithuanian and a master’s degree in education from Kauno technologijos universitetas . From 1983 to 1985 she worked as a teacher in Kašonys and then as director of a nursing home in Prienai . From April 2003 she was a member of the Birštonas City Council and headed the Social Committee. From February 2013 to August 2013, she was Lithuanian Vice Minister for Social Affairs , Deputy Minister Algimanta Pabedinskienė in the Butkevičius cabinet . She resigned because of ethical conflicts in the public service. She then works as a deputy director at the Prienai nursing home.

Bajorienė has been a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija since 2001 .

Bajorienė is divorced and has two sons.
