Algimanta Pabedinskienė (born March 25, 1965 in Liepāja , Latvia ) is a former Lithuanian politician, Minister of Social Affairs from 2012 to 2016.

Life

After graduating from secondary school in Marijampolė in 1983 , she completed her civil engineering studies at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas in 1988 and an MBA (subject: business management) at the Kauno technologijos universitetas in 2005 . From 1988 to 1991 she was a constructor at the Vilnius collective farm , from 1991 to 1994 the founder and director of the A. Pabedinskienė art workshop, 1994 civil engineer of UAB “Auredi”, from 1994 to 2007 director of IĮ “Selema”, from 2004 Until 2005 economics teacher in Marijampolė, from 2005 lecturer at the college in Marijampolė . From December 13, 2012 to December 13, 2016 she was the Minister of Social Affairs of Lithuania , appointed by Dalia Grybauskaitė .

Pabedinskienė speaks Latvian, Russian, Polish and English.
