Angela Borgstedt

Angela Borgstedt (* 1964 in Karlsruhe ) is a German historian .

Borgstedt studied history , literature and mediaeval studies at the University of Karlsruhe . In 2000 she did her doctorate with a thesis on denazification in Karlsruhe and was a research assistant at the Institute for History at the University of Karlsruhe until 2007. In 2008 she became a research assistant at the Chair for Modern and Contemporary History at the Historical Institute of the University of Mannheim and has been the managing director of the Research Center Resistance Against National Socialism in Southwest Germany since 2011. Since her habilitation in 2010 with a study on the history of the legal profession in Baden, 1864 to 1952, she has also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Mannheim .
