Angela Fox (composer)

Angela Fox (* 1976 ) is an American composer , singer , choir conductor , dancer and choreographer .

Fox studied music theory, composition, and dance at St. Cloud State University . There she was accepted into the Vocal Performance Program and was a soloist in the concert choir and the opera theater. She toured with Carpenter's Tools , made radio and television appearances, and in 2005 participated in WE Fest , Minnesota's largest coutry festival. In 2006 she released her debut CD Gravity .

Fox worked as a composer, choreographer and dancer for the St. Cloud State Repertory Dance Theater . Her play Shadows of Light was performed at the Martin Luther King Celebration at Concordia College . She composed the music for the theater production Tale of the Last Formicans and worked for two years at the L'Homme Dieu theater as a choreographer, dancer and actress. For five years she was church and youth choir director, piano and vocal soloist, and composer at the River Hills United Methodist Church in Burnsville . She gives private piano lessons and is co-owner of South of the River Music , a society that is dedicated to private music lessons, especially for toddlers up to the age of four.
