Angela Friedrich

Angela Friedrich (born November 11, 1959 in Hamburg ) is a Hamburg politician of the GAL-Hamburg and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

Angela Friedrich studied sociology and urban development at the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics . She worked as a draftsman and was studying at the TU-Hamburg-Harburg at the time of her mandate . She joined the GAL in 1986 and was a member of the Hamburg parliament from 1989 to May 1991. She belonged to the first parliamentary group to be occupied only by women. In 1989 she left the GAL parliamentary group with 5 other MPs and formed the “women's group” that was independent of the GAL. Her political work focused on building and urban planning as well as transport policy.
