Angelika Gemkow
Angelika Gemkow (born November 29, 1949 in Bielefeld ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending school, she completed an apprenticeship as an administrative clerk and worked in this profession.
She has been a member of the CDU since 1967 and was represented in numerous committees, including a. as district chairman of the Christian Democratic workforce .
MPs
From June 1, 1995 to June 2, 2005 Gemkow was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . She was always elected from her party's national list. My constituency was the parliamentary constituency Bielefeld I . She was chairwoman of the study commission on the situation and future of care in North Rhine-Westphalia (2002 to 2004).
From 1979 to 2005 she was a member of the city council of Bielefeld.
Others
Since January 1, 2006, she has been the state government representative for the interests of people with disabilities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
