Angelika Meier

Angelika Meier (* 1968 ) is a German literary scholar and writer .

Life

Angelika Meier studied political science and literature . For a while she worked as a research assistant at the Free University of Berlin . She did her PhD in literary studies and lives as a freelance writer in Berlin. Her novel Heimlich, heimlich mich forget was on the longlist for the German Book Prize 2012. In 2016 she received the Literature Art Prize of the Academy of Arts, Berlin.
