Angelica Zanolari

Angelika Zanolari (born October 16, 1951 ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

Zanolari became known as the president of the Swiss People's Party (SVP) in the canton of Basel-Stadt . Under her leadership, the SVP established itself in the city canton. In 1998 she was elected to the central board and the cantonal board of the SVP and held the canton's office of president from 1999 to 2005. From 2000 to 2005 she was in the office of the Constitutional Council. She has been on the Grand Council since 2001 . From 2001 to 2005 she was in the office of the Grand Council and on the administrative board of Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe . After repeated internal party disputes, she resigned as president.

She is entitled to live in Brusio and is employed as administrative director at the University Hospital Basel .
