Banjul Anglican Cathedral
The Anglican Cathedral of Banjul , also St. Mary's Cathedral , is a church building of the Anglican Church in the Gambian capital Banjul .

It is located on MacCarthy Square at the corner of Glaucester Street , where it dominates the street scene. The neo-Gothic brick church, built in 1933, is smaller than the Roman Catholic cathedral .
The Sankandi Monument
The Sankandi Monument in front of the Anglican Church commemorates the Battle of Sankandi in 1900, in which the British destroyed the city of Sankandi.
